By using WakaNaija, you agree to these terms. WakaNaija is a ride-hailing platform that connects passengers with drivers in Nigeria.

Passenger terms

• You name your fare; drivers may accept or send a counter-offer.
• You agree to pay the final agreed fare for each completed ride.
• You must treat drivers with respect and follow safety guidelines.

Driver terms

• A flat 5% platform commission applies to every completed trip.
• You must complete identity and licence verification before driving.
• You maintain your own vehicle, insurance, and roadworthiness.

Wallet and payments

Wallet balances are held in Naira. Withdrawals are processed to your bank account. The platform is not a bank and wallet funds are not insured deposits.

Safety

Both passengers and drivers can use the SOS button during a ride. Trip recording requires mutual consent. Abuse of the safety system may result in account suspension.

Liability

WakaNaija is a facilitator, not a transportation provider. We are not liable for the conduct of drivers or passengers. Users are responsible for their own actions during rides.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. This will anonymise your records and cannot be undone.
